One thing I love to do in my downtime is read, and when I can mix it with my passion for finance and financial freedom I am in heaven. I have three financial books that I highly recommend for you to read. These books can help you to feel empowered about your money and give you advice, tips and the confidence to tackle your financial situation.
It’s easy to fall into the Amazon rabbit hole and become overwhelmed with all of the choices out there surrounding financial books, so I am going to share my top three picks with you to help take out the guesswork.
You are a badass at making money by Jen Sincero:

Jen has a few books in the badass series and they are all great! She is funny, real and cuts straight to the point. This book is all about helping you move past your money fears and remove the blocks that have kept you from reaching the financial success you dream about. She shares her real life money transformation and some amazing tips to help you get REAL results.
I liked this book for a few reasons. It’s based on real advice that can be applied to anyone. No matter what your current situation is. She walks the reader through uncovering blocks around finances, and makes you address the excuses you’ve used.
I am all about being real and straight to the point and this book does just that.

Girl, What you Gonna do with your money by Ti’Juana A Gholson:

I love financial books that share a personal success story, and this book hits the nail on the head. She shares how money affects those around her and gives practical advice on how to make adjustments in order to change your financial situation. She will have you looking at your spending and will lay out the steps to make the proper changes.
We all have areas in our lives where we can make cuts and adjustments in order to better our finances and Ti’Juana breaks those down into easy to follow steps. She does an amazing job laying out a roadmap to success that is simple and straightforward. Those two reasons alone are why this book is on my lift of favourites.

This book is on my list because I like how Mike has made it easy to understand and apply some basic accounting concepts for small businesses. He provides amazing advice to help small business owners become profitable.
There are many more great books out there surrounding finance, but these are my personal picks.
